Yelloh Village is about 1km from Benodet's Brittany beaches and 500m from Benodet's Marina (but why walk when you can hire bikes and be there in 10 minutes via a cycle track).
The Yelloh Village offers excellent facilities including outdoor pools, paddling pool, water slide, pony trekking, tennis courts, football pitches, arcade, children's entertainment, play areas, fitness centre and mini golf (200 metres away).
Additionally in this Brittany Yelloh Village there is a restaurant, take-away, evening family entertainment, bars and a disco. The bar has three televisions, which show English football matches, and three pool tables. There is also a wi-fi system in the bar and surrounding area for people who want to view their emails or access the internet. However, last year's transformation was the million euro indoor heated swimming pool, complete with water slides, jacuzzi and shallow seperate play area for toddlers. This is open all day, and together with the extensive outdoor pool area makes for a fantastic aqua experience.
Also new last year were two aerial walkways offering distinct degrees of difficulty. One is for younger children and the more difficult for older children and more ambitious adults. The course includes zip lines, monkey bridges, rope ladders, ariel stairways and abseilling. This is totally safe with a failsafe safety harness (i.e. if you slip you have a safety harness with two safety ropes). As you might expect it is attended by trained bi-lingual staff (there is a small charge for this, but the whole experience can take over an hour to complete). Close by there are opportunities for horse-riding, superb championship golf course within 5 minutes drive, sea and river fishing, canoe and yacht hire and as you would expect from such a vibrant area, many different boat trips, some out to nearby Islands.
Benodet itself is a bustling seaside town and marina, with a big Monday morning market. An experience not to be missed. If you are wondering how close to the Yelloh Village all this is, then use the location button to see for yourself. You can zoom in and see exactly how far away everything is.
